Fair prices for creators

It takes a lot of people to make a high-quality ebook, and they all deserve to be paid.

Good ebooks need authors, editors, designers and more. For readers to have full bookshelves like in this picture -- even full virtual
shelves -- all these people need to be paid.

Because unglued editions have a Creative Commons license, they won't generate royalties. Instead, creators will be compensated with a guaranteed, up-front lump sum. With help from Gluejar, rights holders can choose the amount that makes sense for them. They'll also be free to continue selling, and receiving royalties from, traditionally published editions of their works -- which will have greater visibility thanks to the unglued ebook.

When campaigns succeed, rights holders succeed too. Gluejar will take a small commission. Readers will have new options. Everybody benefits.
